Buddy Coders is run for and by students. We host, and collaborate with other groups to provide weekly coding and career related workshops and mentorship.

PyCamp 2021

 

PyCamp is a python workshop set up for Stage 1 and 2 Computer Science students to help them learn the basics of python. Students are assigned to a group and a mentor and learn the basics of Python while working on a game development project. We chose tick-tack-toe as our game project. The program acts as a “leg-up” in learning a language that is not taught in UCD until later in the Degree Program.
